(+)-Echimidine N-Oxide, is a a hepatotoxic pyrrolizidine alkaloid. Different extracts and echimidine-N-oxide from Symphytum sylvaticum Boiss. Subsp. sepulcrale, has been shown to have Antifungal activity.
