3-Acetoxy-2-oxopropanol Dimer is the dimer of 3-acetoxy-2-oxopropanol and a derivative of 1,3-Dihydroxyacetone Dimer (D450075); a compound used in the synthesis of dihydropyrimidine calcium channel blockers. 1,3-Dihydroxyacetone Dimer is also used in the preparation of new antineoplastic and antifilarial agents.
