Acetone cyanohydrin is a toxic substance that is known to cause death in rats within 5 minutes of injection. Acetone cyanohydrin is also the precursor of the cyanogenic glucoside Linamarin (L466000), a toxic compound commonly found in uncooked cassava and lima beans.
