It has been used as a reagent in the solid-state polymerization of nylon analogs. Adipic Acid Dihydrazide (A291595) is used to functionalize magnetic nanoparticles for gylcopeptited enrichment and identification. Adipic Acid Dihydrazide can also be used as a chain extension for liquid rubber.
