Kaempferol 3-neohesperidoside has insulin-like properties in terms of glucose-lowering, it stimulates glucose uptake in the rat soleus muscle via the PI3K and PKC pathways and, at least in part, independently of MEK pathways and the synthesis of new glucose transporters. Kaempferol 3-neohesperidoside possesses not only a significant anticancer effect against HepG2 cells but also effective and a dose-dependent hepatoprotective and antioxidant activities due to the presence of flavonoids content
